MY THOUGHTS ON THE MEANING OF LIFE

Recently I
answered a question about God’s plan for mans time on earth. As usual,
answering it only led to deeper thoughts provoked by the answer. I hope you
enjoy the journey.

Sal,
I've got another
subject to broach with you. In the past, a lot of the End Times books I read
thought that the Lord would Rapture everyone in about 6,000 years? Where do
they get that number?
From Scripture I
see that:
1. ...with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a
thousand years like one day.
2. For six days work may be done, but on the seventh day you
shall have a holy day, a Sabbath of complete rest to the LORD.
3. It's been approximately 6,000 years now.
Do you hold much with this line of thinking?

Hi!
Here is how I
look at it. I use the numbers to define themselves, because God speaks the same
in numbers as words, because words are numbers in Hebrew.
6 is the number
of man. And 0 is the number of human responsibility. Two zeros = adequate
witness, and three zeros = manifestation.
7 is the number
of completion.
The number 6,000
then seems to denote the length of time of the human responsibility, and it will
be completed at the end of 7,000 years.
So, I would read
that as: Mans human responsibility of 6,000 years is adequately manifested to
him until his completion at the end of 7,000 years, which is also adequately
manifested.
That seems to
say it all! God's way is not the way of confusion. Mans way is the way of
confusion, so it's hard for man to think in terms of truth and simplicity.
So the last
thing left to do is to define human responsibility.
Our overall
responsibility to God is to find our way to Him, and to do that, one must
explore the meaning of life.
Here are my
thoughts on the meaning of life.
God only makes
humanity two offers. Everlasting life, or death! And the choice has always
been ours to make.
This end time scenario that God
wrote is becoming crystal clear to me. I thought I saw it all before, but
lately it's been getting so clear that I know exactly what to expect.
God's plan is so methodical, and
so based upon logic that Satan had to create religion, way back in Nimrod's time
as the only way to combat it.
From Nimrod to us is such a short
time in God's reality, and yet Satan has managed to get man to complicate his
extremely short life so completely that he passes along pure nonsense about God
and His plan from one generation to the next, even though we have His word on
the matter; written and demonstrated. Religion and it’s traditions are entirely
to blame for that.
As I sit here this morning, having
my coffee, and contemplating the meaning of it all, I can visualize the ages of
time on our human scale, and see how we could think it’s such a vast expanse.
In reality tho, we are dealing with a set time that God has fixed in time, on a
spot in His creation, to play out this drama of life and death through the ages,
on a human scale that is purely a means of gaining spiritual existence. Human
life is so short, and promises nothing but death & taxes, where spiritual life,
which promises the opposite, is eternal!
There could be no creature worthy
of God that didn't have a free will. God would not create creatures worthy of
Him without free will. Worthy means worth. What value would there be in
creatures who had no choice if your goal is to have a personal relationship with
them?
Being created in His image is to
have choices. Our entire existence is based upon choice. Therefore our entire
human existence is based upon the choices that lead to having or not having a
spiritual existence. What else is there to do with a life that only exists for
such a very short time? We have no time to do anything else with our lives.
Are we here to accumulate
possessions and pass along a heritage of idolatry, bigotry and hate from
generation to generation? Or, will we evolve into a semi robotic machine to
cope with the ever changing world? Except for the traditionalized view of God,
that’s all that gets passed along. And as time goes on, even the
traditionalized view of God is being pushed further and further back into
becoming folklore.
When in fact, it’s written that by
the time mankind reaches the time God set for everyone alive to make the final
choice, He gives them 40 days to make up their minds.
That validates my point that
imperfect human existence is the only way of choosing whether or not you want a
spiritual existence, based upon what you were able to determine during your
short lifetime using the evidence available.
It will come down to being an
individual choice that every human being alive will have to face. The moment of
truth squeezed down to a single moment in time. At that moment, no accumulated
stack of possessions, or position in society will have any meaning whatsoever.
The only question is do I want a spiritual existence or don’t I?
Because it does come down to that
single choice at the end, it’s the same for each individual at his or her end.
The only difference being the length of the time of your rest. One will sleep
for a short time then be awakened to receive the spiritual existence that they
chose, while the others are raised to be condemned to a final death by fire, for
their choice. After which mankind lives it’s spiritual existence on an earth
made new again for that eternal existence.
My choice is to have a spiritual
existence! And, I feel extremely lucky that I found enough information during
my life time to make that choice without reservation. I believe that I truly
understand that finding the way to have a spiritual existence is the only reason
for this short, imperfect human existence. And as time goes by, that’s getting
harder and harder to see and understand.
But to understand otherwise is to
perpetuate the ignorance that passes on the heritage of mankind’s history. If
that’s the meaning of life, then someday when an asteroid or comet finally
collides with this earth, it will have done the planet a service for having
erased from it’s evolutionary history that deadly, infectious virus, that
science had named, homo sapiens.
