PRAYER AND THE ORDER
IN GOD’S HOUSE
The
other evening, while I was “Open For Discussion” on our chat
connection, I had the opportunity to respond to a Watcher who asked
me about prayer and being in the Will of God. Our discussion
turned out to be about the order in God’s house, and I was surprised
to learn that even though she understood what I was saying, she had
never associated it with God or Christianity. Now she has a
very different viewpoint about her place in God’s family, her
responsibilities in it, how to meet them, and about the lines of
communication between creatures and their creator.
Being born into the family
of God is a lot like being born into our earthly family. First we
are born, then we grow up on milk and cereal and gradually we mature
to the lifelong diet of our choice.
It’s not until after we can
reason that we are held responsible for our actions. So, we better
have learned the procedures for getting along in the family by then,
because after that time we are expected to know and abide the order
of the family household, and then grow from there to maturity in a
useful and humble manner with honor and respect for our parents and
service above self for the family.
After we can reason it
becomes our responsibility to learn that the key to a happy family
life is to communicate with our parents and family, in an honest and
candid way, while developing the values that will become our
character as we grow to maturity.
Now, that’s sounds
idealistic, and unattainable, and it is, on it’s own. What
makes it work is Love, Forgiveness, and the Hope we have in the
Messiah. Jesus is the Messiah, so He is our hope. Jesus
is always the bridge between God and Man.
Jesus told us that we must
be born again spiritually, into the family of God, denouncing the
family of Satan into which we were born by default. Upon doing
so we become new creatures in Christ, born of the Holy Spirit,
neither Jew nor Gentile. A new citizen of Heaven, made
righteous by the blood of Jesus shed on the cross, Given our
salvation and our status in God’s heavenly family as joint heirs
with Jesus. From that day forward the right to claim all of
the promises of the Father in the name of Jesus is ours.
We are as assured of this
as we are of our earthly inheritance once we know the conditions of
our earthly benefactors last will and testament. So long as
you are alive, and that will stands, and you meet the conditions,
the outcome is like money in the bank.
God goes one better for His
family. He says that, forever, His word is settled in Heaven.
In His family, even if you die waiting for His promise to come to
pass, it comes to pass in Heaven. So, He backs up His word
with a guarantees of Heaven.
All done for the mud men
that He created in His image, even though they broke their word to
Him. What a wonderful God! All that love and compassion
for us stems from the order that is in God’s house. Remember,
He did not show this same love and compassion for the Angels that
went against Him. As those Angels had aspired a place in
Heaven, God sets His house in the grasp of the mud men as their
reward for their trust in Him, and promises Satan and his family a
long jail term and final destruction.
The order in God’s house
includes communication. and when it comes to communicating with God,
we have to learn to communicate with a spiritual being and follow
the order of His kingdom if we want to be heard.
Just as God gave the Jews
the Tabernacle in the Wilderness as a way of access to him, he now
provides that access to the Church through Jesus, who was the one
being symbolized by the Tabernacle
Well, god is not as
blatantly graphic today as He was in the Tabernacle days, because
Jesus became the slaughtered lamb that took away the sins of the
world, so now our access to God is through Him, but I feel the order
of God’s house for access to Him has to be followed with equal
vigor.
Communication with God is
called prayer. And the order for prayer in God’s house is
spelled out exactly and is mutually beneficial in its nature.
If you want to be in God’s Will, thus a beneficiary of His promises,
you must first be in Christ.
Now no one comes to the
Father lest he is called, and the only access to the Father is
through Christ. Scripture says that with the heart man
believeth and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Christ therefore is held in your heart by faith, which is an action,
based upon belief, sustained by confidence. Revelation 3:20 tells us
that we get Christ in us by opening the door and beckoning him to
come in when He knocks. Opening that door and speaking forth
that invitation is the action required for spiritual rebirth.
God, having already acted
on our behalf with His call, only reacts to us from that moment on.
All of His actions toward us are initiated by our actions.
From that time on, we praise and thank Him for His actions and
petition him through Jesus for His favorable reactions.
Now there’s plenty of
scripture to support what a good Father God is to His children.
I think the most appropriate one is where He tells us that when we
ask for bread, would he hand us a stone, or when we ask for drink,
would he hand us a serpent. And where He tells us that
‘anything’ we ask for in Jesus name we have.
All of this is demonstrated
and confirmed in the order in God’s way of communicating with His
creatures. It is communication on a personal level, through a
personal relationship kept alive by trust. With an order that
is mutually rewarding. When claiming the promises of God for
yourself, the order of access requires that we follow a simple
procedure. Thank God that we don’t have to kill any more
goats.
The procedure to gain
access to God’s ear since Christ is this.
When you ask, be specific,
as to what it is that you want.
Once you’ve asked, know
that you have it.
Then pursue enduringly
until you see it come to pass
Praise and thank the Lord
for the blessing.
Now, that’s a lot easier
than picking out a perfect little lamb from your flock, and taking
it to the temple, laying your hands on it to transfer the sins, and
watch the innocent animal die, as it’s life is spilled on the ground
before you. The lamb that stood in as substitute for us paid
the price of our forgiveness. The promise kept to raise Him
became the basis by which God asks for our trust.
So now, we only have to ask
in Jesus name, but ask in keeping with what saves us, which is
Faith. Our prayers must be an objects of Faith, just like your
giving. God says, cast your cares on me, for your cares are my
constant concern. Doing other than that would be contrary to
God’s Will.
Feeling any guilt about
asking Him for anything is to think that you had some control.
You have none, so there should never be guilt. Humility yes,
but guilt never. We sin because we are sinners, we’re not
sinners because we sin! And, we are redeemed! Complete
reliance on God is complete Trust in Him, and His response to trust
is mind blowing!
The life of faith, is a
life of action, based upon the belief that God raised Jesus from the
dead, and sustained by the confidence grown out of personal
experience from your personal relationship. Prayer in any of
it’s forms is an object of Faith, and as such its perception should
always be as blatantly graphic in your mind, as was the way of
access to God in the Tabernacle in the wilderness for the chosen
people.
Prayer through Jesus is our
access to God. Our line of communication. It’s what
takes us inside the fence that separated from God and surrounds with
His presence.
He wants us to be specific,
so that when we receive it, we will know where it came from.
Satan always has his substitute, but it’s never the same as the
genuine article, so be specific. Write it down. Make it
in several parts. That’s how I do it, but that’s me. My
relationship with Him is comfortable that way. But believe me,
when you see it come to pass, you will know if it’s the genuine
article, or if Satan is trying to make you believe something that
really isn’t so, but looks a lot like it. Follow this access
procedure to the letter.
After we’ve asked
specifically for what it takes to ease our cares, He wants us to
know that we have it. The emphasis is on knowing that it’s
ours, and we can claim it because we have His word on it. In
itself, understanding that, demonstrates that repeating the request
over and over and over again would only serve the opposite effect of
using the prayer as an object of Faith. Once you have thrown
your cares on Him, let Him keep His word as further evidence to you
that He is worthy of your trust based on that experience alone.
Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
Now comes the exciting part
of the equation. We get to participate with God in the
fulfillment of our prayer. Because after we ask specifically,
and know that we have it, we must now pursue enduringly until we see
it come to pass.
What’s that mean, pursue
enduringly?
I think the best way to
describe it is in a silly example. That way we will always
remember it as what we must do to see the object of our prayers come
to pass.
Silly example:
If your prayer was to be hit by a truck and killed, and you knew
that you had it, and you were waiting for it to come to pass by
sitting in your living room and never going out side, chances are,
you would never see that prayer come to pass.
If you had been pursuing
enduringly, you would have been walking around on the freeway where
a truck has better access to you. And, you would have to be
enduring everything that came along while you were doing it.
The point is that if you
are going to ask God, then you have to let go and let God fulfill
His words of promise to you. The only way that will ever
happen under the order in God’s house, and to be in His Will, is to
do it His way. Our participation is required. Nothing is
in our control except the pursuit and endurance of our faith.
Making that prayer an object of our faith ensures it completion,
even if we have to collect it in heaven. We have God’s word on
that!
Remember that God picked you to hear the messages of
this Ministry for a reason. You must be among them that will
hear it, and when you do, Paul’s message is clear, WARN those who
are asleep. Our mission is to do just that and you are called
upon to help us do it. Understand that, and rise to the
occasion and be who Paul made you out to be.
I teach to support this

Biblical principle of giving to the storehouse where you get
your meat. We are bringing the message of the AGE to the
Church, and we need all the help we can get
Now, if this were a fine sunny Sunday morning, and if
we were in a Church building, at this point I’d say; Stand up
everybody! Now, everyone give a rousing cheer, because it
OFFERING TIME! (cheers and applause) We’re cheering in
my Church because giving is an object of our faith, and because the
Lord loves hilarious givers, and promises to pour down a blessing on
them that cannot be contained! We trust the Lord for that
blessing; and you’ll be glad that you did. When you give to keep
this Ministry’s word going out to the world, give hilariously first,
and as generously as you can.
