Greetings Watchers!
The key to understanding Paul’s teaching on the Rapture
is in the logic of its place in Scripture. It has to be there, because
it’s part of the Church. Since the revelation of the Church was made
only to Paul, it has to be within his teaching on the Church.
And, since it’s Gods demonstrated manner to have
alternate plans to cope with the free will of the individuals He’s
dealing with, He held the alternate plans in a secret place in His mind,
revealing them only when the need arose.
When the need arose for the promise made to the chosen
people, the Jews, to be awarded to substitutes, because of the Jews
rejection to The Plan, a set of preplanned events centered around the
substitutes, and their timing, was set into motion.
In the fullness of their time, the hidden portions of
those event will be seen and understood, just as they were when the
Church was revealed to Paul.
The Rapture of the Church occurs at the time near the
end, just before God returns to complete the covenant he made with
Abraham and his descendants. The timing for that return was sealed by
God in the Prophecy of Daniel, centuries before the need arose for the
creation of a substitute recipient of Gods promises to the Jews.
Those substitutes were made new creatures in Christ, not
Jew nor Gentile. And they received the promises slated for the Jews via
the Spring Feasts cast as shadows into the future of the Church, to be
seen when the events leading to the 70th week of Daniel are
seen on the stage of history.
As I began to write a clarification of this
understanding, I began to outline the teaching, and what I found was the
outline explains it in it’s simplicity. I will complete the full
thought of each topic, but the topics themselves make it easier to
understand.

TALKING POINTS
ü The
tabernacle is the old testament shadow of the messiah
ü
Pentecost
of Acts 2
delivered a message to the Jews about Jesus being their messiah (point
to remember is that the gospels were not written as yet)
ü
Jews
rejected the salvation work of their messiah requiring acceptance by a
substitute to keep gods word from coming back void
ü
Long after
the Pentecost of Acts 2,
Paul receives the hidden revelation of this need for a substitute and
the commission to found the body that will fulfill gods word that was
rejected by his chosen people
ü
God places
the chosen on hold, to be revisited after the founding and completion of
a new covenant made with the substitutes.
ü
Jews
remain under the Abraham covenant awaiting their destiny (spelled out in
Revelation)
ü
The
messiah bridges the promises of the old to the new testament by
fulfilling those same promises to the substitutes in the fullness of
their time to keep his words of promise
ü
Christianity becomes based upon the Jewish messiah’s resurrection, and
the promises of the feasts, or set times, that once signaled the coming
of the messiah for the Jews, are now cast in shadow form into the path
of the substitutes, to perform the same function in the fullness of
their time which was locked up in Daniel's prophecy centuries before
ü
Paul
taught the Colossians that the bridge between the O. T. and N. T. are
the feasts of the Jews fulfilled in Christ for the Jews, and cast as
shadows to be fulfilled for the new testament body in the fullness of
their time
ü
Follow the
shadows back to their source and you find the elements that cast them -
The Messiah
ü The
spring feasts of the Jews fulfilled by Jesus depicted the coming of the
messiah for the Jews
ü
The
shadows they cast depicts the 2nd
coming of the messiah for the Jews
ü
In that
shadow cast by the spring feasts, is the 50
days of the feast of first fruits, which typifies and sets the timing
for:
-
The resurrection
-
The raising of the
dead in Christ
-
The gathering
together unto him at the end of the Christian covenant, the
rapture
-
The offering of
the messiah once again to the Jews
-
The anointing of
the witnesses that take the offering to the Jews after the church
age is over
ü
Paul
taught the rapture as fact to the Colossians
ü
Paul
taught the rapture as fact to the Corinthians
ü
And, Paul
taught the rapture as fact to the Thessalonians
ü
Those
teachings to the first converts was the truth. you can count on that
ü Those
teachings are the trail to follow now to discover the meaning that the
fullness of time has revealed about the rapture
ü
God set
the time precisely for the close of the Christian covenant just like
everything else in his plan. to be seen in the fullness of the time he
set in the set times of the Jews
