Greetings Watchers! In my first message today, I used a figure of speech, “fit in a phone booth”, which only meant that in comparison to how many there are that claim to be Christians, the Rapture will be rather small. We know that half of the Laodiceans will miss it, and that’s the largest part of the Church today. So don’t be dismayed at that euphemism. My teaching about who goes in the Rapture is, and always was, and always will be, that everyone who is IN CHRIST at the time will go, watching or not. Period! DON’T EVER think that in the examples that I use to describe the Rapture that I think that only those who watch will go. Nothing is further from the truth. Now I want to thank everyone who dropped me a line about that, and I hope that for those who did not and are yet concerned that I have dispelled any false notions you may have about my teaching on Watching. Please everyone; remember that I care about all of you. God called me to start watching the Mideast over twenty years ago, when hardly anything on the scene pointed to the unsealing of Daniel’s prophecy and the coming of the “end times”. When I finally saw the proof of it in 1993, I began to write about it, and almost 5 years ago it became obvious, and I was called to begin this Ministry to alert the Christian world to the lateness of the hour. But, I found the Church world focused on end time doom and gloom instead of being focused on Paul’s teaching of the joy these times bring to Christians. I could hardly believe that! The time of our catching away was drawing near, and everyone is focused on what is going to happen in the great tribulation as though they were appointed to go through it, instead of raising their voices in songs and praise to the Lord, letting Him know that we are watching as He commanded, and that we see the day approaching, just as He wanted for us. That’s why the focus of my teaching is about the Rapture, and what God’s word actually says about the time and the circumstances of its occurrence. That is virtually an unknown subject in the Church world today. The traditional teaching on the end times has been shown to be ill conceived in the light of the actual historical events of our times that fulfill the prophecies specifically given by God as the sign post for us to know when that time arrives. Paul had to write to very frightened Thessalonian converts to re-explain his teaching about the rapture, after false teachers, who claimed to have come at Paul’s behest, had misguided them into believing otherwise. Paul’s message to them about our gathering together unto Jesus, which is a message directed solely to the Christian Church, was clear, precise and redundant. In his opening statement, he uses the word “beseech”, to gain your attention. Now, to “strongly urge” someone is one thing, but to “beseech” someone, goes a lot deeper in it plea. So it seems that Paul is a bit intense in what he is explaining to these beloved folks who are so frightened that they can’t even work, or think straight. The false teachers had preached that the Antichrist was upon them, and that they were in the Great Tribulation. Their minds went blank! Why was Paul saying this now, when he said something else at first? Some were arguing that Paul sent these teachers, because they had a letter saying so, and they themselves said that they were talking in the spirit. Others argued that they wanted to hear it from Paul himself. There was confusion among the members of the Church in Thessalonica, and this letter opens with, “We BESEECH you brethren (Church members) by the coming of Our Lord Jesus Christ, and our gathering together unto Him that ye not be soon shaken in mind”, by all this nonsense about letters from me and talking in the spirit. Paul was a God Inspired preacher so he gave it to them straight, and pointed. So, right there in the opening line, Paul confirms that they already know all about the gathering together unto Christ, otherwise he would not have used a word like beseech, to plead with them, based on that understood knowledge, to never be deceived, any means, into thinking other than what they already know from all of his prior teachings. Then he reiterates to them what he had already taught them, namely that the Antichrist, whom they were so deathly afraid of, and the day the Lord had scheduled for him, couldn’t happen until after an event took place. Now I know that the King James Version says that event is a “falling away”. The word used is “Apostasia”, which equally means, “a departure”. And since Paul is referring directly to this gathering together unto Jesus, that they already know all about, you don’t have to be a Greek Scholar to understand the context, and the preciseness of the language he uses to convey the meaning of the message, that the event that has to take place before the man of sin comes on the scene, is this departure, that they have been taught, happens in the twinkling of an eye, after the dead in Christ have risen. Then Paul reminds them again that they know all about this stuff, and reconfirms that just by the mere fact of our existence on the earth, the time for the man of sin to appear on the scene is being held back. He says that the spirit of Antichrist is already at work in their time, but, we that are now the restraining force will continue in that role until we are taken out of the way, then that Wicked one (Antichrist) will be revealed. But, not to worry, because Our Lord Jesus will consume him with the spirit of His mouth and the brightness of His coming. And, John tells us in Revelation that we are part of that brightness when He comes. Then Paul goes on to repeat himself, and giving thanks to God that we are the fortunate people, chosen from the beginning for salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth, which recalls to them his teaching on them being the people of the day and of the light, destined to escape the great tribulation. So, put on the full armor of God, and go about your life watching, and when you see it, warn all the others. Then those magic words to COMFORT one another with this understanding and edify each other with the words that you already know, because I personally taught you, but I beseech you brethren (there’s that word again), to know them that labor for the Lord among you, (Paul to the Corinthians 16:18) for they have refreshed your spirit; therefore acknowledge ye them that are such. This Ministry is such a Ministry! We refresh your spirit with the God’s word through Paul. Our message is to Comfort one another because you are people of the day. You are watching, so you will see it coming, and it won’t take you like a thief in the night! As is true for all who are in Christ at the time. That’s us, the watchers who are alert to Paul’s teaching. What about all our brothers and sisters who follow the message of the teachers who brought the false message to the Thessalonians, the ones that only see the doom and gloom of the end times? Are they all “in Christ”? Only God reads their hearts. It’s not for us to say. But, following a false teaching could lead to falling away. So, I don’t judge, I only warn. Look at how many there are in the Church today that don’t even believe there will be Rapture. Of those who do believe, why is there so much confusion as to when it will happen? It’s obvious to me that the teachers today aren’t teaching the basic message of Christianity. They are leaving it half undone. They teach salvation, but forget to teach what Paul taught about salvation. That’s the other half of it. I can understand glossing over it in the past, but now that the end days are an acknowledged fact, why isn’t the COMFORTING part of Paul’s message about this time on the lips of every Pastor of every denomination in Christianity? They’re not teaching it because they have never been taught it! Each of you should write your Pastor and ask him when he’s going to teach that message. Christianity is a living, learning experience, not a religion! Christians are new creatures in Christ! Until we learn that, we will never be able to understand how to separate Christianity from everything else in the world. And, if you don’t separate them out, you will never know who is being spoken to. When Paul spoke to the Thessalonians, he was speaking to the Christian Church; the Body of Christ. New creatures, with a destiny, foretold by revelation from God only to Paul what that destiny was, and it was for no other. That’s why this attitude of, “I’m ok and you’re ok” stuff is spit out of His mouth! It’s luke warm and hideous to His taste. That’s why he warns this final manifestation of “the Church”, called Laodicea, to buy from Him gold tried in the fire, and that when He knocks, invite Him in, and be saved. Here is John now passing on the words of Jesus to the people who call themselves “body”, but are not. And, his word to them is to reignite your light and be that new creature that Paul spoke to so precisely about these very times. I can’t even imagine this being a concept that is hard to understand. The reason I teach prophecy is to make you aware of the reality of the approaching last days. That time comes out of time; it doesn’t just materialize from out of nowhere. God left a trail in time that a blind man could follow to lead us from out of the past right onto the present day stage. His word is so precise that when you reached the time when the prophesied events were appearing as history, they would be easily recognizable to anyone who was aware and watching. And if you were one of those, then you would have great reason to REJOICE and COMFORT one another with that insight. Exactly what Paul taught! But remember, the last thing he admonished them, before he took up an offering, was, when you see it coming, warn the sleepy heads before it was too late! All this wonderful truth, spoken by the founder of the Church, directly and precisely, kept sacred throughout the ages is there in plain sight, ready for the taking, but it’s the fictional works of the “gurus” that the Christian world follows that make the bestseller lists! Now there’s a concept that I do find hard to understand! As always, if my teachings are a blessing to you, then follow the Biblical principle of giving to the storehouse where you get your meat. Remember, giving is part of the trip, a very joyous part of the trip. Giving has to be an object of faith. That’s why the Lord loves a hilarious giver, and promises to pour down a blessing on him that cannot be contained. So, when you give to support this word, give generously and hilariously. The Lord will love you for it. Remember also that we need your prayers, so if that’s all that you can give, then give them generously and hilariously. And as always, please pray with me: We made it through February! We are faithing on that Lord. Amen. One more reminder; we are coming into Spring – the window is about to open! Stay alert and keep watching. It takes study to know where to look, what to look for, and why you are looking for that. If you haven't taken our study that teaches it, ask for your copy today. http://www.chn-net.com/support/order_form.html God bless.
