STUCK IN THE GLUE OF TIME!
Greetings Watchers!
Today while perusing the
newspapers from around the world about the Mideast, I became acutely aware of
how God is dragging time into it’s end time position. And we, the living beings
don’t even realize it, but we are stuck in the glue that time is. There is
absolutely nothing we can do about it except be dragged right along with it!
That means that when God’s
scheduled events described in the Book of Revelation about the end times of the
Jews and Jerusalem is in place, there is nothing you can do except watch it
happen. You can’t move! It’s coming whether you see it or not, and you can’t
do a thing about it. Or is there?
If you write your congressman,
will that help? If you email the White House, can you make a difference? How
about if you started praying, could you change the outcome? The answer I’m
afraid is NO, to any of that.
Remember the words of Pharaoh in
Cecil B. DeMille’s production of the Ten Commandants, “so shall it be written,
so shall it be done”! I always liked that line. It represented to me what
God’s prophecies are all about.
There is no changing the outcome
of what God as ordained to be the fate of the Chosen People. It was sealed in
the words of their prophets from the beginning. So much so that God had a
mysterious plan, tucked away deep in His mind that no one, including Satan could
ever guess it unless it was revealed by Him.
That plan came to fruition in it’s
time! There was no stopping it! You couldn’t ask a Pharisee to change it. You
couldn’t take it to the governor and ask him to make it different, and you
couldn’t pray to God and have Him change it. So it was written, so it was done!
Eventhough man has a free will,
God had it covered! So, as God reveals, time is our enemy! Eventually time
will run out. And that day, and the events leading up to it are no longer
hidden in God’s mind. The mystery of it is revealed, exactly on time, as it was
written. And guess what? You are stuck in the glue of that time. You have
moved into the time that the mystery of the end time of the Chosen People is
slated for.
The world chooses to close it’s
eyes to what time it is Biblically, but that makes no difference to time. Time
just keeps marching on. The world chooses to deny what the Prophets of the
Chosen People have written about the end time. The world will not believe that
the only true test of a prophet is what he says comes true. If they did, they
would heed the message and do the only thing they can about time.
Have I made my point here? This
is all about time.
Now, God dealt with time in a very
specific manner. He wanted the Chosen People to be totally aware of time and
events as it pertained to His covenant with them. So, He set times on their
calendar for future events to occur. Times that they could count on. He even
specified rituals to perform on the day of those set times so they would never
forget that what He had written was what would be done.
But, in anticipation of their free
will, God made a mystery of the time of their end days, and locked it up in the
prophecy of Daniel. He said that it’s time would only be seen in it’s time.
How clever of God to do such a thing! Tell them that when they see the events
of Daniel on the scene, then they would know exactly that it was time and thus
prepare, because as it was written, so it would be done.
Now, we all know that those
rebellious people rejected the main event scheduled by their set times. And we
all know that Paul was the only person on earth selected to be told of the
meaning of the mystery that God had locked up in His mind as the “fail safe”
program to insure that, as it was written, so it would be done.
Then Paul pointed back to those
set times of the Chosen People to reveal the time of their fulfillment which
would be visible when the time locked up in Daniel was seen in history.
Now, when the set times arrived on
the stage of history when the meaning of those times were fulfilled, it was
clearly seen. However, clear as it might have been, it was rejected out of hand
by those for whom it was meant.
Today, in every newspaper around
the world, the lead story is the prophecy of Daniel. Clearly being seen by
those who know of it and it’s significance to the time written about the end
days of the Chosen People. And, as history repeats itself once again, it is
being rejected out of hand by the people for whom it was written, and to whom it
will be done.
Now, Paul pointed to this time and
those events that had been once exclusively for the Chosen People, and told his
followers that if they wanted to know the timing of the end of their days, which
would come just prior to the final days of the Chosen People, they had to watch
the Chosen People for the event that would be the warning sign that would herald
in what had been written so it could be done.
That event is the dead rising in
Jerusalem on First Fruits, the set time for the promise of the full harvest yet
to come that was passed in time to appear at the time when the prophecy of
Daniel was clearly being seen in time.
Once again, in this modern day and
age, the followers of Paul’s teaching about the Messiah and His return is being
rejected out of hand. How strange is that?
Let me warn you right here and
now, at this moment, time is being dragged over the spot when the events of
history all point to the completion of the words that were sealed in time to
give us the warning we need to know for sure that, “as it was written, so it
shall be done”!
When you see or hear of the dead
rising in Jerusalem, in fulfillment of the shadow cast by those who rose after
Christ on First Fruits and went into the Holy City, Jerusalem to fulfill the
warning time set clear back in Jonah’s time, then you will know for sure that
your redemption is only 40 days away. And that’s a time when we Christians will
be glad that we are stuck in the glue of it!
